What's Happening At The Library
NEW EXERCISE OPPORTUNITY
Starting Monday April 6th there will be a Pilates Class in the Community Room from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Bring your own mat, towel and energy.
The library will be hosting the AARP Tax-Aide Program. Since 1968, this volunteer-based program has helped more than 50 million people file their taxes...for free!
AARP Tax Aide Program is open to help all taxpayers. Volunteers will be able to help taxpayers with their income tax forms, to include e-filing their return. Please bring all 2014 tax information including property tax receipts, valid photo/picture ID of the taxpayer and spouse if married, social security cards for taxpayers and dependents, and a copy of last year’s return. If stock sales are involved, bring supporting documents for cost basis or we will have to get you the information. This a free service sponsored by the AARP Foundation and the IRS. While originally organized to assist seniors and those with low to moderate income, all private taxpayers are welcome.
Tax Aide will be available in the Library Community Room starting February 4th on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9-2. Our capacity is 24 returns per day. Contact the library to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins are taken as space is available. Each session starts on the hour.
