The Tri-Township Public Library District is part of the Illinois Heartland Library System which is a regional, multitype library system consisting of over 800 member libraries throughout central and southern Illinois. As a member of this sytem, Tri-Township PLD users can request books and other items from other member libraries.Online Catalog
This is an interface to the Gatenet Library System catalog. To place requests, you need to login with your User name or library card number (the 13-digit number on the back of your library card) and PIN. Then click on Submit. Your default pin number is the last four digits of your telephone number. Please contact the library at 618-667-2133 for assistance.
3M Cloud Library E-Book and Audiobook App
Your library card entitles your to access the 3M Cloud Library collection of E-books and Audiobooks. Download the app from the 3M Cloud Library homepage or Android Playstore or iOS Store. To sign-in you select the the state of Illinois, the Illinois Heartland Library System, your card number and pin. Your library card number is the 13-digit number under the barcode on the back of your library card; and your default pin number is the last four digits of your telephone number. Music, Movies and Magazines: 1 week
All other items: 3 weeksItems obtained from other libraries may be subject to different loan periods.
Renewals
Items owned by Tri-Township PLD: 2 renewals
Items may not be renewed when there are other patrons waiting for such items.
Fines
We are a fine free library! There will no longer be overdue fines for Tri-Township Public Library card holders. Replacement costs will still be charged for lost or damaged materials.
3D Printing
The Tri-Township Public Library District has a 3D Printer that is available for non-commercial public use. Printing costs .15 cents per gram of filament used. Please note that this includes any additional supports needed during printing and may not reflect the printed product’s final weight. 3D prints must be picked up within 7 days of completion by the individual who requested the print or they will become property of the Tri-Township Public Library District. Designs for printing must be submitted as a .stl (Stereo Lithography) file either via a USB flash drive or by email to info@troylibrary.org if file size allows. The maximum print dimensions are 11.6 X 7.6 X 6.5 IN. When requesting a print, a patron may request any of the available filament colors.
